Infant Nursery

9:00 & 10:30 Sundays

Ages Newborn – 18 months

Our nursery offers a safe, loving environment in which children birth – 18 months are cared for. We strive for cleanliness, friendliness, and excellent staffing. Pagers are provided to contact parents if needed. The Infant Nursery is located on the main level off the children’s hallway.

Parents:

Registration and pager sign-out is necessary.

Please provide a diaper bag for your child.

Toddler Nursery
9:00 & 10:30 Sundays
Ages 19 – 36 months

Our nursery offers a safe, loving environment in which children 19 – 36 months are cared for. We strive for cleanliness, friendliness, and excellent staffing. Pagers are provided to contact parents if needed. The Toddler Nursery is located on the lower level in the north hallway.

EUM's nursery ministry is happy to announce the start of a 2's Room beginning Sunday, June 7^th during the 10:30 worship hour. The number of registered toddlers has outgrown our Toddler Room! More space is needed in order to comfortably accommodate those under the age of three.

As of June 7, 2009:

1) The Infant Nursery remains on the main level serving children 0-18 months

2) The Toddler Nursery remains on the lower level serving children 19-24 months.

3) The Two's Room is on the lower level (adjacent to the Toddler Nursery) and will serve children who are two years old. The Two's Room is offered during the 10:30 service only.

PARENTS:

Your help as parent volunteers in the nurseries makes excellent childcare possible. Thank you for your faithful participation!
Pagers are available in all rooms.
Suzanne or Jamie will continue to supervise the Infant Nursery.
Gayle or Jamie will supervise both the Toddler Nursery and Two's Room.

Babies Bible
9:00 & 10:30 Sundays

Ages 18-36 months

This ministry seeks to plant seeds of faith in toddlers. A brief Bible story or concept introduces them to God’s truths in an age appropriate setting. Babies Bible sessions are approximately 10-15 minutes in length and encourage, but do not require, participation. Babies Bible is taught in the Toddler Nursery only.

CritterLand 3’s

10:30 Sundays

Age 3

This one hour preschool class serves as a transition from Toddler Nursery into a semi-structured Sunday class. It is designed to introduce children to Bible stories, activities and crafts, while still allowing time for free play. Teaching teams consist of one teacher and one parent helper. Located on the sanctuary level, north hallway.

Parents:

Pagers are optional and are located in the Infant Nursery, next-door to classroom.

Child must be potty trained to attend this class.

Look for lesson theme handouts in the classroom when you pick up your child.

CritterLand 4–K

10:30 Sundays

Ages 4 – Prekindergarten

This one hour preschool class is a structured hour of Bible curriculum including stories, music, games, crafts, snacks, and hands-on activities. Teaching teams consist of two teachers and one student helper. Located on the lower level in the easternmost classroom, just down the hall from the women's restroom.

Parents:

Look for lesson theme handouts in the classroom when you pick up your child.

SHOUT –See, Hear, Obey and Understand the Truth!
10:30 Sundays

Ages K – 5th grades

Kids begin the hour in church with their families for praise songs and prayer, after which they are dismissed to SHOUT. Small group leaders teach and apply Bible lessons to everyday life through activities, games, crafts and discussions. Small groups are formed according to grade. For K-1st Grade, SHOUT is located on the main level at the west end of the children’s hallway. For 2nd-5th Grade, SHOUT is located on the upper level in Fellowship Hall.

Parents:

We follow a monthly rotation for SHOUT acitivities:

1st Sunday of the month: Movie day! We will watch a short, fun film related to the month's Bible lessons.

2nd Sunday of the month: Cooking! We will create an edible delight that helps reinforce the Bible teaching.

3rd Sunday of the month: Games! These are relationship-building, Scripture-relevant games that your child will love!

4th Sunday of the month: Arts & Crafts! Your child will be able to apply the month's Bible lesson to a creative project which will often be sent home for the family to enjoy.

5th Sunday of the month: When there happens to be a 5th Sunday, the activity will be a surprise!

M & M’s (Music & More)

9:00 Sundays

Ages K- 5th grades

This music-based program focuses on creative ways to worship. Singing and drama arts are primarily used. M& M’s productions are featured twice a year in the sanctuary. Occasional rehearsals are required. Hand bells are also taught. Visitors and newcomers are always welcome! M & M’s is located on the main level at the west end of the children’s hallway.

Bible Blast

6:30pm Wednesdays

Ages 4K – 5th grades

Kids have a blast at this high energy mid-week program! Bible study assignments are done at home as a family, followed by weekly quizzing at Bible Blast. Prize incentives provide a successful approach to memorizing Bible facts and scriptures. This program thrives on parent involvement. Results include a higher level knowledge of Bible stories and facts, for both kids and parents. Located on the main level at the west end of the children’s hallway.

Parents:

- Parent Orientation Meeting is required in September

- At home Bible study together with your child determines their success

- Weekly prizes are rewarded for lesson quizzing without error

- Trophy Celebration in April

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

A summer highlight at EUM! Creativity abounds in the highly-esteemed ministry.

Preschool VBS 2009: June 1, 2 & 3 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. (Ages 3-5)

Family Fun Factory! Family VBS 2009: June 22, 23, and 24 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. (For families with kids entering 1st-6th grades). For our first Family VBS, we will have a Game Show theme! Come and join the fun and worship with your children!
