Whether you enjoy holding babies, telling Bible Stories, helping at VBS, or even sewing costumes, there is a place for you in the FOREVER FRIENDS ministry! We want to help you find where you can use your God-given gifts to invest in the lives of children.

 

 

 

Each member of our Forever Friends team has one thing in common: a passion for children. If you have a heart to love God and a desire to work with children, then you have the two basic ingredients necessary to become a leader in children’s ministry. You do not need a degree in elementary education or a commanding knowledge of the Bible to be a great leader in Children’s Ministry. We will equip you for your ministry.

 

You can successfully minister to children with a minimal time commitment. We have many ways that you can minister to children in a time frame that will work for you! In as little as 2 hours a week (1 hr. prep and 1 hr. program) you will be able to form relationships with children and their parents that will communicate God’s love and value for them.

 

You will be supported in your ministry through the Children’s Ministry staff. You will not be a lone ranger in your ministry to children...guaranteed! We’ll provide you with the materials and guidance needed to prepare you to lead EUM Kids.

 

 

 

A SHOUT shepherd is a small group leader that shares the Bible lesson and then helps kids apply it to their every day lives, using the options offered in the curriculum. Shepherds also take an interest in student’s lives through group conversation and home contacts. One hour of preparation a week is needed, plus one hour each Sunday in small group. Shepherds lead on a rotational basis: every Sunday for one month, then 2 months off.

 

This one hour preschool class serves as a transition from Toddler Nursery into a semi-structured Sunday class. It is designed to introduce children to Bible stories, activities and crafts, while still allowing time for free play. Teaching teams consist of one teacher and one parent helper. Located in the lower level, north hallway.

 

This one hour preschool class is a structured hour of Bible curriculum including stories, music, games, crafts, snacks, and hands-on activities. Teaching teams consist of two teachers and one parent helper. Located on the main level in the children’s hallway.

 

Ages 18-36 months

This ministry seeks to plant seeds of faith in toddlers. A brief Bible story or concept introduces them to God’s truths in an age appropriate setting. Babies Bible sessions are approximately 10-15 minutes in length and encourage, but do not require, participation. Babies Bible is taught in the Toddler Nursery only.

 

Our nurseries offers a safe, loving environment in which children Infant – 36 months are cared for. We strive for cleanliness, friendliness, and excellent staffing. Pagers are provided to contact parents if needed.
