I feel so blessed that God is using me to do His work with EUM’s middle school students.

 

Middle School students are such a great group of kids to work with. The uncertainty, the changes, the friends, and the feelings are all so overwhelming, yet so exciting. I love the fact that I get to help my students look to God through these tumultuous years. I love helping them see that they can rely on Jesus whose love and grace is so overwhelming that it overshadows those harder moments of life. He is the one person in our lives who does not let us down. I get to share that Good News to our EUM middle-schoolers.

 

I love hanging out with middle school students and building relationships with them. I get to see them start to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and start to take that depth and make it an even more  practical part of their lives. How great it is to watch them take that step! It’s especially gratifying to know that when they leave our middle school ministry, they will be well-cared for in our high school ministry. To watch them enter into high school with a strong faith is probably the most rewarding thing I get to do.
 
EUM is a tremendous church family. I am thankful for the love that Jesus Christ has given m, and blessed that I can pass that love on to others, especially my middle school students.
 
When I am not working with the youth at EUM, I am working full-time as an orthodontic assistant at Dr. Chu’s office or hanging out with my family. I have 2 nephews and 5 nieces that keep me busy!
