The best compliment I ever received was from a 9 year old boy who told his mom that I was a teenager! She explained that no, I was not a teenager. He replied, “Ok, but it’s not like she’s a grownup!”While my age definitely indicates I’m a grownup, I try not to let my heart be grownup. Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3-4, NIV). Oh, to have child-like faith. That’s a goal I’m shooting for!
At Forever Friends, it’s a privilege to share my faith in Christ with kids. It’s an exciting opportunity to use my spiritual gifts of creative communication, encouragement and teaching. It’s a joy to minister along side a team of gifted staff and volunteers who love God and respect His kids.
You should know that I love my calling (ok…job). I look forward to getting to know your family. My prayer is that your children will have an exciting friendship with Jesus they can’t wait to share! Let’s work together to that end.
